NxTV - HTNG Web Service:

As a provider of Hotel Information Systems, especially streaming movies and on demand entertainment, NxTV is a major force in its industry. One of the reasons NxTV has earned this leadership position has been its use of cutting edge technology.

Sequoia was contracted to provide a first ever certified implementation of the Hotel Technology Next Generation web service.

HTNG is an open standard that enables numerous organizations in the hospitality industry to conduct ecommerce based on this shared platform. NxTV had a very important deadline to meet - a premier industry conference. The company had designed an entire marketing campaign around the notion of being HTNG certified.

With so much riding on the certification effort, we went beyond the call of duty and submitted a codebase that was certified by the governing body to be the first US compliant implementation (certification) of the HTNG web service standard.

The certification arrived in the customers hands 7 minutes before the start of the conference. Talk about excitement!
