VPI - Insurance:

Veterinary Pet Insurance is the single best known company of this type in the country. If you have a pet and have been to the doctor with it, chances are you may have seen the VPI brochures. Health care for pets is becoming more expensive - hence the business model of insurance coverage for pets.

Sequoia Services worked closely with VPI tech personnel to provide architecture and guidance on a project that converted the existing ecommerce platform of VPI from Coldfiusion to ASP.NET. Along the way we utilized an Object Relational Mapping layer to connect with a legacy Oracle backend. Much of the code was designed as resuable WCF components.
